HENRY ALFRED GOOLSBEE’S Trademarks

H. Alfred Goolsbee has lodged numerous filings for trademarks and patents related to Earth-Saving technologies and designs of his own invention.

Goolsbee’s principal line of approach can be summed up in two phrases:

1. “Sustainable Innovation”
2. “Urban Permaculture”

• Henry Alfred Goolsbee was the first person to file for trademark protection for the term ORMUS.
• It was later expanded to include the trademark “Quantum Dot Solutions [TM].”
• Goolsbee was using ORMUS in many different Earth-Friendly applications while researching its potential avidly as “ORMUS NATURAL SCIENCE LABORATORIES INT’L.“
• Goolsbee’s research in 2004 was paralleled at Georgia Tech in a somewhat different but ultimately related field.
  • “A new class of water-soluble quantum dots made from small numbers of gold atoms could be the basis for a new biological labeling system with narrower excitation spectra, smaller particle size and fluorescence comparable to systems based on semiconductor quantum dots.”
  • “The gold nanodots are made up of 5, 8, 13, 23 or 31 atoms, each size fluorescing at a different wavelength to produce ultraviolet, blue, green, red and infrared emissions, respectively. • Eventually he combined it with E.E.M. (Environmentally Effective Microorganisms).
• He then invented a new and unusual way to harvest and culture a consortia of symbiotic extremophiles (micro-organisms that survive under unusually “harsh” conditions) by combining the ORMUS and the E.E.M.
• This combined biotechnology was then represented by Goolsbee under the trademark “Quantum Dot Solutions“.
